House Manager, Haslemere, Surrey
 
We are looking for a dynamic House Manager for the client’s newly acquired property near Haslemere, Surrey. The role involves overseeing the 28-acre estate, including a main house, guest lodge, and staff quarters spanning 28,000 sq ft.
 
The property, blending modern amenities with traditional Georgian style, is scheduled for enhancements over the next six months. Expect occupancy for approximately half the year.
 
Responsibilities include managing a team of two full-time housekeepers and coordinating residential security and gardeners. During non-occupancy periods, work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, or 9 am to 6 pm. However, weekend and holiday shifts are required when the family is in residence. The House Manager must remain accessible via mobile/email.
 
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation due to the property’s rural location.

The client’s preference is to employ a live-out candidate, however, it is possible that a studio or 1-bedroom apartment could be provided for a candidate who needed accommodation.
