We are delighted to be supporting our fantastic client, in the search for an experienced Front Desk Manager.
 
Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Supervising and supporting the Reception team in their daily tasks
  • Providing leadership and guidance within the team, under the Front Office Manager’s direction
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to hotel guests and potential customers
  • Overseeing guest communications within the front office department, including phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Assisting in training new team members
  • Ensuring implementation and adherence to procedures and standards directed by the Front Office Manager
  • Handling issues and other technical problems
  • Addressing procedural queries from the reception team and resolving general issues
  • Anticipating departmental needs for shift and daily duties
  • Providing motivation and feedback to the reception team
  • Collaborating with the Front Office Manager and/or Manager on Duty to address customer complaints
  • Liaising and communicating with other departments
  • Handling procedural queries within the front office department
  • Managing cash, credit card payments, and cashiering duties, resolving payment-related queries
  • Ensuring completion of all scheduled tasks accurately and on time
  • Building strong working relationships with colleagues
  • Acting as a team player with multitasking abilities
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager

Requirements for the role are:

  • Essential knowledge of OPERA, with OPERA Cloud proficiency considered an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Hospitality qualifications preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operating systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of service
  • Attention to detail
  • Interdepartmental communication skills
  • Dedication to progressing within the 5-star market
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift
  • Professional image
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
