As the Senior Sous Chef specialising in banqueting, you’ll be a vital asset to their culinary team, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen department.
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Supervise day-to-day operations, meticulously organising and executing tasks to maintain our high standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to curate menus that capture the essence of our banqueting services.
- Take charge of implementing and refining food hygiene protocols, guaranteeing adherence to regulations.
- Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing development opportunities, conducting regular appraisals and setting clear objectives.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and motivated environment, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
Ideal candidate should have / be:
- Essential previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef within a similar setting.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced banqueting kitchen environment.
- Strong business acumen or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivation are key.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with availability for shifts on weekdays and weekends.
