Job Title: Live-in Houseman
Location: Central London
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per year

Notes: Candidates must be willing to travel and have experience of working with dogs
 
We are seeking an experienced live-in Houseman to join the household of an UHNW client in Central London, with a salary on offer of £45,000-£50,000 per year.
 
The client values discretion, professionalism, and a strong work ethic so candidates must be willing to come in and work alongside the other members of the team to deliver the highest possible standards in the house.
 
The role requires frequent travelling with the family so candidates must have the flexibility to fly with the family and provide support at their other properties. Candidates must also be dog friendly as there will be frequent support and handling of the family’s dogs.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Support in the day-to-day running of the residence, ensuring all areas are impeccably maintained, including cleaning, small repairs, and managing household systems
• Be flexible and ready to accompany the family on travels and supporting the rest of the team in ensuring smooth transition to different properties
• The residence is home to 5 dogs so you will assist the Dog Handler in caring and training of dogs 
• Work closely with other household staff members to ensure a cohesive and harmonious environment as this is essential to the family

The ideal candidate:

• Proven track record of working in similar roles and/or responsibilities within HNW households
• Extensive experience in caring for dogs, with a strong understanding of different breeds and their requirements
• Must have the flexibility to travel with the family, sometimes at short notice, and adapt to changing schedules
• A strong history of longevity in previous positions, showcasing commitment, loyalty and reliability
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work seamlessly in a team
• Understand the importance of discretion and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the role
