We are seeking a talented and experienced Private Chef to provide exceptional culinary services to the Principal.
 
The ideal candidate will have a passion for vegan cuisine, be knowledgeable about nutrition, and possess the skills to create delicious and healthy meals. The candidate will be health-conscious and focus on dietary-specific cooking, be responsible for preparing weekly menus, sourcing high-quality ingredients from organic and local suppliers, and ensuring that meals are both nutritious and flavourful.
 
Recipes and guides will be provided for candidates by the family’s Nutritionist.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Create weekly menus that meet the dietary preferences and nutritional requirements of the Principal including vegan, raw vegan, and health-focused dishes.
  • Prepare healthy and delicious vegan meals, snacks, and shakes for the Principal.
  • Collaborate with nutritionists/doctors to tailor menus to specific dietary needs and health goals.
  • Oversee the cultivation of microgreens and other herbs to be used in daily cooking.
  • Source fresh, organic, and local ingredients from reputable suppliers.
  • Plan and execute grocery shopping trips to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other household staff to coordinate meal schedules and special events.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Accommodate any dietary restrictions or preferences of the Principal.
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in vegan cuisine and nutrition.

Ideal candidate: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Chef in UHNW households.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on vegan cuisine.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and experience creating balanced and healthy meals.
  • Ability to prepare a variety of vegan dishes, snacks, and shakes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work 6 days a week when the Principal is in residence, with time given back when the Principal travels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanour and appearance.
