We are currently seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our fantastic client based in Ireland, working within their dynamic Kitchen Department.
Salary €30,000 – €35,000
Live in accommodation (subject to availability)

As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll be an integral part of a bustling, diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Under the mentorship of their Head Chef, you’ll have ample opportunities to hone your culinary skills.
Responsibilities for the role are but not limited to:

  • Overseeing staff and ensuring top-quality food preparation
  • Maintaining exceptional guest and member experiences
  • Fostering positive relationships with colleagues
  • Supervising and motivating staff as needed
  • Contributing to food cost control efforts
  • Adhering to food preparation standards
  • Preparing staff lunches according to instructions and menu plans
  • Ensuring high-quality food presentation
  • Managing stock rotation and minimising wastage
  • Ensuring proper food storage and labeling
  • Assisting other departments as required
  • Aiding in staff training
  • Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues
  • Keeping workstations clean and organised
  • Adhering to environmental regulations
  • Meeting HACCP requirements rigorously
  • Reporting to senior chefs
  • Attending scheduled training sessions
  • Leading a team effectively
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring their proper execution
  • Participating in menu planning and design
  • Managing stock levels effectively
  • Organising kitchens for functions and banquets
  • Ensuring proper storage of deliveries
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor with guests


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie
  • Relevant commercial cookery qualification
  • Coaching abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • NVQ Level 3 certification
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 & 2)
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Creative approach to food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
