We are delighted to be working with a fantastic property in Ireland. Our client are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a Reservations Manager. This role offers the opportunity to thrive and advance in a high-energy environment at the heart of their operation.
 
Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and support to the Reservation team, ensuring seamless daily operations.
  • Uphold and manage standards for guest communications, encompassing phone calls, emails, and all correspondence.
  • Implement and enforce procedures and standards as directed by the Managing Director.
  • Address system issues and other technical challenges.
  • Handle reservation inquiries and procedural matters with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Anticipate departmental needs and maintain preparedness for daily tasks.
  • Handle customer complaints with care and resolve them effectively.
  • Offer motivation and feedback to the reception team.
  • Ensure accurate input and maintenance of all reservations in our system.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
  • Execute scheduled tasks promptly and accurately.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues and act as a team player.
  • Demonstrate multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to duties.

Requirements for the role are:

  • Proficiency in OPERA system is a must.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel is essential.
  • Hospitality qualifications preferred.
  • Strong leadership qualities are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operating systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Committed to delivering high service standards.
  • Attention to detail is paramount.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Dedicated to advancing within the 5-star market.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
