Working as one of a team of 6 with a head housekeeper in a large very formal home.
5 days a week from 10am – 9pm, some days start later
Each maid has their own floor to look after
Every day is a staff meeting where you get your daily tasks plus advised of any events, meetings or contractors etc
30 days holiday usually taken when the family are away, xmas and summer normally
A lovely family to work for and staff stay long term
The House Manager is VERY keen on staff training and encourages passion in the job, he does a house check at 1.30 every day and will advise on any issues
Standards are VERY high but totally achievable with the right attitude
The family are very generous, the staff meals are incredible!

There are 2 cats that Iive in the house so you must be pet friendly.

Attitude is the MOST important factor, plus a willingness to learn and enthusiasm.
Performance review every 6 months, Annual salary review on performance
